Training Opportunities

School districts and charter schools have a variety of both general and specific training needs. The Idaho School Safety and Security Program (ISSS) is a free training resource available to all public and charter schools in Idaho. ISSS leverages a network of School Safety and Security Analysts and subject matter experts to provide training opportunities in communities with limited resources or accessibility.

ISSS staff can provide training on several core topics and, when needed, help connect schools with additional resources or qualified specialists. While we do not recommend or endorse specific programs, curricula, or vendors, we are committed to supporting districts in accessing best-practice, research-based training options that align with their local needs.
