Triennial Safety & Security Assessments

The Triennial Safety & Security Assessment is a comprehensive on-site examination of a school campus and surrounding community, seeking to identify those conditions that threaten the school environment. Based on the findings of the Safety & Security Assessment, security analysts will work with campus administrators to identify areas of vulnerabilities, develop mitigations plans and assist in providing training.

Safety & Security Assessment findings and recommendations are returned to the individual school administrator to form a roadmap for future improvement. As the findings and recommendations note vulnerabilities and contain emergency response plans, the assessment and recommendations are protected documents (I.C. 74-105(4)b) and are exempt from freedom of information requests due to the likelihood that the disclosure would compromise the safety of students and staff within the school.
